Heinz Spoerli, a natve of Basel, is one of the most important choreographers of our time and has had a prfound influence on the world of dance, well beyon his Swiss homeland. Since 1996, he has been the Director an Chief Choreographer of Zurich Ballet, which has become one of the most admired dance companies in Europe under his leadership.

Junior Ballett

The aim of the Junior Ballet founded by Heinz Spoerli ist to promote a new generation of dancers. Gifted young dancers from around the world are given the opportunity to participate as students in the daily work of the Zurich Ballet and in its performances.
